The Migration signature collection has been enjoying a steady rise of interest with international buyers over the past couple of years and is continue to evolve. I am experimenting with watercolour on canvas and preserve it's beautiful texture with thing layer of oils. The Take Off is a metaphor born in the sky. Paper planes are faceless phantoms of human kind. Fragile make that yet strong to challenge the mighty skies. They form ties and keep community connections. The painting is the tribute to delicate nature of both, man made creature and nature born lacy clouds. Turquaze and teal, bronze and copper intertwine with soft blues and ochre, shadow and light. So if you would like yourself one of my Migrations, pls contact saatchi curators to discuss the options. It's normally takes no longer than 2 weeks start to finish to get it dispatch ready. I am happy to work with the designers on set colour schemes and orientation. As for sizes, I make them in 120x100 and 120x150 cm big

Yuliya artistic talents started to forge from a really early age as she spent hours in the after school classes experimenting with media and receiving classical art training. She grew up between the leafy hills and lakes of Northern Kazakhstan and industrial Caspian coast town where she was born in 1980. In turbulent times of post Soviet collapse her future was decided in favour of law studies. So artistic development had to be slowed down. Only 15 years later Yuliya was able to return to art looking for meaningful engagement. Since 2015, she showed her work as independent and with the gallery, was part of international established art fairs and shown with alternative gallery spaces. Her work is well sold on all the major online platforms and found its way to movie sets (Marvel for Doctor Strange 2016, ABC for Scandal, 2017), have been shown in members clubs, stylish London hotels and fine dining venues, acquired by interior designers for yachts, cruise liner, international resorts and held in private collections world wide. Yuliya is known for developing collections filled with elegant flow and ethereal glow. She explores idea of fragility and strength in her sky scapes, isolation at sea in dreamy sail boats coastal series, urban crowd dynamics in Connected works on paper and most recently cyclical nature of florals in her 2024 Blossom collection. With each of them focusing on delivering a dreamy side of an elemental realm, the body of works at large filled with weight free emotion effortlessly filling the viewer with light nostalgia. fall involve with me on instagram: @y_martynova_ where i show my life, my work, my beautiful house, daughter and occasionally a hiding hubby
