"The Academy" Painting

My oil paintings are a reflection of my personal connection to people and places that hold deep sentimental value. Inspired by the melancholic beauty of Edward Hopper's urban and rural landscapes, the emotional depth of Anselm Kiefer's works, and Peter Doig's depictions of sentimentality and nostalgia, I aim to create evocative and sometimes dark representations of my subjects through traditional media of oil on canvas. Through my work, I hope too invite viewers to contemplate and connect with their own memories and emotions.
