The Cosmic Dance Painting

This is the Orion Molecular Cloud complex. I called it "The Cosmic Dance" because the cosmic dance represents the movement in the universe, and Orion Molecular Cloud complex is a perfect example of such a cosmic dance. On the painting you can see the Orion Nebula, the Waterfall nebula, the Horsehead Nebula, the Flame nebula, the Barnard’s loop, M78 (a reflection nebula) and in the left bottom the Lynds’ Dark Nebula. The most notable stars are Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka (in the middle) and Saiph (right bottom). The interesting fact is that Egyptians had aligned their pyramids in Giza to the Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka.
