About The Artwork
This oil pastel landscape painting shows a man crossing a creek in the Cascade Mountains. The subject of this artwork is a former friend of mine and one-time hiking companion. Bill was a very smart fellow who had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He was also one of the early casualties of the immune deficiency disease, AIDs. This art is in memory of my friend and a celebration of the nature of which we are all a part.
