About The Artwork
My epiphany occurred under an olive tree on a Greek Island in 1982. Like this tree, it was badly scarred and not recently pruned (like I felt at the time!), yet still producing its healthy fruit. That epiphany started me on my 7-year odyssey to Greece. Olive picking is still my favorite pastime here each season, and my painting hangs in our public library, an homage to the many health sustaining properties of the nearly imperishable tree I love.
