The Flame Painting

I have always loved among Flemish primitives, especially Bosch, the capacity of painting to represent so many details and events, sometimes to the absurd. By taking a step back from the work, the detail is lost in favor of the mass, making it possible to integrate another level of reading. 600 hours spread over several months of work were necessary to the development of this image. One can ask the question of this rhythm so slow, in a time saturated image; Spend so much time before the canvas induces a form of hypnosis. Calligraphy in its center is difficult to read, but means "fire" in Arabic. It refers to the burning fire inside us, which leads us to be creative, even in art and in our every day life.
