This piece was inspired by the Suisun Bay Ghost Fleet, a group of anchored WWII vessels in Benicia, CA. With over 80 remaining, some are now U.S. Navy reserve ships, and others are being removed in stages by 2017.

She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from California College of the Arts with distinction, and received an MFA Fellowship from San Francisco Art Institute for graduate study in Painting completed in 2018. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is in private collections in Europe and the United States.
