When painting plein air in Tuscany, I saw this beautiful old olive tree leaning towards the sun on the road to the medieval fortress town of Montecarlo Tuscany .It just had to be captured so I found a place to perch and prceeded to paint . I was happy with the result - the loose spontanious watercolour.captured the warmth and beauty of the scene.. .
