About The Artwork

Painting: Acrylic, Enamel and Spray Paint on Canvas Playing with found materials such as wall paper such used in Victorian era with floral and nature prints fused with graffiti stenciling and spray painting led me to this garden Victorian wallpaper print type artwork which is timeless yet contemporary and edgy. The aesthetic movement was more than William Morris wallpaper –which turn Victorian values upside down. has a new twist. Beautiful rebels lay dormant READY TO EXPLODE. Panoramic friezes of cut-paper silhouettes, CAMEOS and figures against a wall paper patterns which address the history insubordinate yet proper values . of or characterized by an elaborately ornamental late baroque style of decoration prevalent in 18th-century Continental Europe, with asymmetrical patterns involving motifs and scroll work and or moral or cultural decline as characterized by excessive indulgence in pleasure or luxury. as the Rococo and Baroque. The Beguiled -" The Magnificent" looks more like a surreal fairy tale then graffiti street art. What a amazing twist. This art work should have been the movie poster for The Beguiled original with Client Eastwood. Could you see Dirty Harry surprising the artist by pointing his 57 Magnum to the side of his face in a alley way while said artist is caught spray painting this Victorian Kara Walker -esque stenciled on the wall, Client gritting his teeth " Go Ahead, Punk Make My Day" - The Artist As Writer D.C. 7/1/2017 By the way you must see the Original movie Beguiled with Client Eastwood a thousand times better then this 2017 adaptation. The artist of the "Magnificent One" David Chevtaikin AKA "Tronic D" used the sample of Client Eastwood sings his Death Song at the end of the movie while he is walking out to the pasture after being feed poison mushrooms (Alice) by the house full of girls with the eerie squeak of the Gothic gate which keep him concealed from the cavalry while trapped in the Victorian mansion and intot to the English garden.
