About The Artwork
The Province of Shaanxi and its capital Xi'an are steeped in history. Most tourists just go for the Terracotta Warriors and perhaps walk the city wall. There is much much more. Away from the city are various significant burial sites. This is based on one such tomb and the long climb up the hill to get to it. Oil on oil paper backed with canvas board. Plain wood floating frame with fixtures to back ready to hang (see picture of back). Dimensions in inches including frame w 12 7/8 x h 17 3/4 x d 1 3/8.

I was a painter to begin. I started doing computer art in the late 70s, programmed at first but then evolving into a couple of strands of practice. Today the painting and the computer work interact sometimes, because of digital media I also retrieve and revisit old work when it merits it.
