This painting is inspired by the element of force, bravery and elegance associated with a horse. Visiting the ‘61st Cavalry’ in Rajasthan, these warrior horses held a special place in my heart. This painting uses colours and poise of a horse head and mane to depict the charisma of this warrior. The connection that I feel with this painting is reflected in the delicate play of light across the face. The painting connects to the warrior within, who embraces all other aspects of humanity yet faces the war with such nobility.
