About The Artwork
I was inspired to paint 'Watching Waves' simply because of the therapeutic benefit ocean wave watching can bring. You're quiet. You're thinking. You're working out issues in your head. Or maybe you are sitting on the beach just listening to the sound of the sea waves and watching the surf. You're looking out at the horizon then watching the waves gently roll to the shore. It seems to be a beautifully natural and effective way to bring calm to ourselves. This 18" High x 24" Wide x 1.5" Deep painting continues around the sides of the canvas. A UV-resistant satin varnish has been applied. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany the art. This painting is ready to ship and ready to hang!

I am a self-taught artist best known for large-size original abstract and contemporary paintings. In 2021 I worked with an organization to create ~200 digital images - variations of my original artwork - to use for ~1500 prints for the Sky Tower Hotel at a Resort & Casino. I have donated artwork to raise money for a Children’s Home in Oxford, NC, and for Freedom Global, an organization that creates sustainable solutions to alleviating poverty in countries around the globe.
