Dreamy, futuristic, surreal, and minimal abstraction. The words best to describe the recent painting by New York City Artist David Chevtaikin "The Future Is Now" this work of art is the result of many years of experimentation with experimental art and abstraction. My exploration and experimentation in abstract painting to find a new style is my driving inspiration and obsession in art. I hope the viewer feels a attraction or pull towards viewing the work. The medium, subject and style is my continuing pursuit of a limited palette for simplicity and minimalism while maintaining a purity to my approach into a zen like meditation and abandonment. Exploring two opposing environments or elements co-existing in a extreme place like space and earth. Water Ocean waves in a non gravitational force, floating instead of crashing down.
