About The Artwork

This is a special expressive colorful painting - watercolors on a museum quality acid free clay on wood Aquaboard. This means that the painting is framed without glass just like a normal canvas painting. It comes framed in a white floating frame. 30x30 cm, watercolor, little gouache on aquaboard, framed white, ready to hang. UV protection varnished. Signed on the front and back and Certificate of Authenticity. (c) 2021 Gesa Reuter, all rights reserved COLORS: Please be aware that monitors may show colors slightly different from reality, especially blues and greens. It is almost impossible to avoid that! SHIPPING: Please note, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. I have no control over these charges and I cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
