About The Artwork
Loving many different styles and many artists, Modigliani is one at the top of my list. Fun, at times whimsical always a study of women. Features/body parts often distorted makes for unusual but very pleasing compositions. I love his take on this portrait and I made it “my own”. Colors are far more intense and I omitted some features to enhance the image and make her less complicated. The background was done first with textured markings to add more interest. I love her... I hope you do!
