Whirl Painting

This artwork belongs to my series "Water". A series of colors on a dark canvas background. I was inspired by slow circular movement of leaves floating on the surface of a lake. Imagine a beautiful piece of nature, where everything is green, red, shimmering and flickering, where objects of different colors change from second to second due to shifts of light and shadows and animated by internal heat of work are in constant vibration, from which the lines tremble and which confirms the law of eternal and universal movement. Painting enables me to be myself, gives me the freedom of expression. Each brush stroke is like a dance step – the act of painting, if you do it with love and conviction, is like choreography: the very motion of my hand is delicate, gentle, or brusque, decisive and creates an energy that will emanate from the final work. “How can you tell that a painting is good?” people often ask me. That’s how: it calls out to you, it communicates, expresses something.
