About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by a visit to a local charity and this was an abandoned kitten , who with his mother was being looked after by the owner. He stood meowing pitifully right at the top of the scratching post, when he realized we were not going to get him down he climbed down, I think he wanted a cuddle but he was a little to poorly for that yet. I am sure he will have loads. I support this charity with my work and my cat who was 19 came from there, a lovely place.

I was born on an RAF base in Cyprus. I spent my formative years in Singapore before settling in Nottinghamshire UK. I work in many mediums, that suit the particular painting I am working on.I try to capture the essence of my subject by meeting and observing them from life.
