Circus: Extraction Photograph

Scenes from the circus, Istanbul 2008. A small crowd fills the tent. Hard to tell if performers are aware or if they stopped to care. Action takes place in multiple settings. Linkage provided by the clown. Tension provided by others. Ropes, lions, motorbikes. Heights, knives and broken hearts. Circus rages on, fake or not its ectacsy is self indulgent. So are the expectations and perceptions and actions of the watchers. This is a series of my impressions from the Circus. It's imagery for me. It's poetic and full of hidden meanings. Its visual expression is through the photographic medium only because that's the medium I'm familiar with. Alternatively I could have written poems. Maybe I did. ... It is offered on Saatchi Art as 1 of 1 artwork and Open Print. If you buy the 1 of 1 edition, there will NOT be a physical shipment of the artwork. Instead I will send you the digital file. If the primary collector who buys the first original work wants, I will also mint a 1 of 1 NFT edition on either one of the art platforms I use or on a collection based smart contract. The artwork might also be offered as an NFT on a different platform, in such a case it will be removed from other platforms once the first 1 of 1 is collected. This works comes with full commercial rights for the collector. The creator will also retains the use of image for business and commercial uses. Open Print will be stopped once the Limited Edition is sold and the primary collector requests so in writing. The creator can anytime decide to stop the Open Print.
