About The Artwork
Days of Creation, or "Bereshit" in Hebrew. This painting represents the seven days of creation in an abstract, fantasy style. The Seventh day, or Shabbat, is represented by the Blessing recited during the Kiddush, in Hebrew calligraphy, as the original text in the Torah. The colors are vivid, gracious curvy lines for the spiritual atmosphere. The original was made on fine textured paper, using tempera and water based colors and genuine gold leafing. The reproduction is a true facsimile of the original, beautifully printed on fine paper or canvas. The prints are shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, unframed.
