About The Artwork
This butterfly themed dress is made with hand painted copper wire, meticulously hand woven and accented with deep blue and silver metal powder. This piece has hand cut butterflies made of mylar and paper and cast sterling silver and cast glass components. As with all of the work, the refraction and shadows that light makes upon the piece is mesmerizing and adds drama and contemplation to the work.
