March of Hope Sculpture

I am trying to keep optimistic about the future, hoping that the positive effects of this terrible virus will continue after it disappears : the strong ties between family and friends, the kindness and sacrifices that have been made by so many, the tolerance and patience, the value we place on previously undervalued jobs, the positive effects on the environment, flora and fauna, the hope that politicians will keep the best interests of their citizens close to their hearts and remember that people and quality of life are more important than money and power. I have hope. I wanted this to be an optimistic peice, I deliberately chose strong bold colours to startle the viewer when they enter the room. The rainbow colours can be interpreted how the viewer sees fit. The rainbow has so many different meanings to so many different people.
