It's somme 20 years old wool scraps that I have been given by my mother inlaw. I placed the wool as it was : matted into a cheap Ikea frame. The plastic glass of the frame has been distorted by the thikness of the wool. My intention is to show how beautifull the wool is.

Switzerland
Born in 1974 in Lublin, Poland, lives and works in Switzerland She studies business in Switzerland at Lycée Jean-Piaget while simultaneously attending the Academy of Meuron. She earned a diploma with honors from the van der Kelen Institute in Belgium and then pursued ceramics training in Lisbon and Miami. Her past as a political refugee at the age of 12 and her nomadic life starting at 20 opened her to various existing styles—pop, conceptual, craft, appropriation. Her art, shaped by her personal experiences, finds expression through different mediums such as oil painting, illustrations, and ceramics, which she sometimes blends to create her unique mode of expression. Dusong creates asymmetrical or iconic faces, raising contemporary questions about women’s identity and/or obsessive consumerism. Animals and poetry also hold significant places in her works. She uses vivid colors for provocation, embracing an aesthetic devoted to consumer culture, and soft tones to evoke childhood reveries filled with lightness and poetry—an art that heals.
