I made this collage work inspired by Van Gogh's portrait and combined it with various elements from "OEDIPUS - World of Horror", my egg tempera painting series. I hope this work makes viewers see a parallel between Van Gogh's life story and "Oedipus Rex", the classic Greek tragedy.
