About The Artwork

I draw my inspiration from the active and vibrant life of big cities. I love how the constant movement and energy of urban environments create a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes that can't be captured with just one color. That's why in this my work, I aimed to convey the depth and complexity of city life through a range of shades, from bright and bold to dark and somber. I wanted to capture the beauty that coexists with the gloom, to show that both light and shadow are integral parts of the urban landscape. To do this, I experimented with different mediums and techniques to create a layered and textured effect that would convey the multi-faceted nature of the city. In particular, I found inspiration in pop art, with its bold colors and graphic style. While my work is not strictly pop art, I incorporated some of its elements to create a sense of dynamism and playfulness. I used quick, sketchy strokes to give the impression of movement and vitality, while also using sharp lines and contrasting colors to create a sense of tension and drama.
