About The Artwork
I am a self taught automobile and motorcycle illustrator that works exclusively with an 0.5 mechanical pencil and color pencils. I have been illustrating since 1995, stemming from my childhood pssion for automobiles. Graphite is my desired medium (0.5 Mechanical Pencil exclusively). It affords me the opportunity to manipulate contrast and dimension. my shading technique is what attributes to the renderings quality of realism. This finely honed skill allows me to depict the ideal flow of light across metals and surfaces. The typical method of brushing/smearing of lead is opposed. The desired effect is obtained by direct and controlled application of graphite. Application of lead is always light to dark. My Automotive Art should appeal to the automotive afficiado with a discerning eye for details. I am available for Commission work.

I was born in New York, New York in 1961. I have always been fond of automobiles. In 1973 the family moved to California. For years I made it to the New Car Dealerships in September to review the new models; surely to get the new brochures. I've always been intrigued with styling as well as performance. In 1995 I began illustrating automobiles. Since then I've completed approximately 300 Illustrations. On average a rendering can be completed within 30 days. I am available for Commission.
