About The Artwork
Hands down my favorite veve from a visual standpoint, perhaps because although this is part of Yoruba Pantheon, according to the Chinese Zodiac I was born in the year of the rabbit, which translates to Pisces in Western astrology. My element in Chinese is would, which is what bolts were made of in ancient times. I wanted to give it an ethereal look with the background, so it seems as though it's floating transparently underwater as opposed to on top of it.
