This is a mono-print from a series of comic portraits that were originally inspired by the pompous comic page character "Jiggs," I took off on the idea of a wealthy, pompous, self-satisfied man whose life consisted mostly of going to a private club with other men and sitting around smoking cigars and comparing incomes. The style is freely drawn and comic-expressionistic, the technique of mono-print providing interesting accidental effects in the line and tonal areas.
