This painting is the day of the bombing in Beirut. I saw a picture of a woman holding three children that affected me a lot. My feelings were shaken when I saw this picture without realizing it. I headed to my studio, grabbed the feather in my hand, pointed the canvas in front of it without feeling affected by this horrible pose and painted this painting.
