Motor Boating Print

The little harbor next town where river Peene opens it's mouth to lake Kummerow is a small encapsulated world of it's own. I always picture Lieutenant Tyrone Slothrop of Gravity's Rainbow passing it on his way to Peenemünde in search of the "Schwarzgerät", and the locals, and voyagers become performers in an imaginary world. Like this motorboater, leaving quietly in the morning mist. The hero image of the work shows it as it could be presented in a passe-partout. The second image shows it's irregular shape. By means of a removable acid-free glue, the drawing comes mounted on a piece of silver grey cardboard. This was done as the most beatiful solution for an exhibition—to present the irregular shape of the work and it's signs of wear. I leave it up to the valued collector to show it like this or to gently remove it for alternative framing options.
