My Only Back Up Plan is To Fall On My Own Arms Part of No Time For Losers series of drawings, object, photography and paintings (2019-) pencil, acrylic and charcoal on 250lb Fabriano paper, Anton Terziev 2023 Size: 50 x 70 cm Courtesy the artist Title credit: Svetoslav Todorov - writer, editor, correspondent. Collaborating since 2019 Photo material used: UFC Female Fighter Christiana ‘Cyborg’ Santos. Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino won the first ever Strikeforce women’s featherweight championship in convincing fashion back in 2009. She makes her long-awaited UFC debut at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil on May 14 When are we more sincere - when we lose or when we win? When we see through and imagine that we are stronger than what appears overwhelming? If you look for the answer by yourself, you will immediately feel that sometimes the excitement originates from the fear and the courage. There is also the suspicion that we can go through and return to these borderline experiences a certain number of times before we lose sensitivity for them. I examine these psychological states in "No Time For Losers" (a verse from Queen's "We Are the Champions"). The situations, depicted in the works, explore the personal and the external, the conscious and the unconscious, what you give when you take.

Bulgaria
Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, i work with various subjects of the day often with the means of sharp irony. The iconography I use possess harsh and critical imagery. It’s all about stakes, skills and storyteling. Figurative contemporary art with a fine touch of social message, humor and artist condition message. When are we more sincere - when we lose or when we win? I examine the personal and the external, the conscious and the unconscious reducing the distance between the portrait and the self-portrait, the present and the past. Tracing the changing attitude towards the themes of freedom, carelessness, responsibility, guilt.
