About The Artwork
With my painting I intend to show that any theme of everyday life, if observed well, can be a work of art. My artistic influences are many, among which are Eduardo Bonati (Chilean painter, my professor at the University), Manuel Hernández Mompó (Spanish painter of the 20th century), Quentin Blake, and traditional Zen painting.

I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, in 1960. I currently live and work in Madrid. I'm a painter, I'm also an illustrator, and I have several illustrated books. I combine my artistic activity with my work as a graphic designer specialized in editorial design. I work mainly with water techniques, (Watercolor, Gouache, acrilyc and mixed techniques because of their immediacy and fluidity, their expressiveness through layers and their luminosity. I was a founding member of the art gallery "Legado Social" in Madrid (1991 and 1992).
