Sad Clown Print

Drawn on a wipe board with a black marker pen then alter on GIMP software. Most of my drawings are inaccurate illustrations focusing mainly on cartoon expressions of male faces. My attempt was to express my characters as mischievous or lonely, having said that, I believe it should be up to the person viewing the art to decide on the character’s emotion. Some of my cartoon faces have ‘wooden-like’ features similar to a ventriloquist dummy, which relates a lot of my obsession of the film ‘Magic’ 1978 which is about a ventriloquist who becomes psychologically controlled by his dummy. Some of my other drawings are based on existing characters such as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland and Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. Some other character ideas include Clowns, Witches, Voodoo dolls, Elves and Scarecrows.
