About The Artwork
The inspiration is from a photo I took in 2013, back in 2013 I was doing a project and need some photos of imperfection in the city of oakland, California. Broken bikes, cracks on the street, lost bart ticket...Now as I looked back, some of the photos are speaking to me that imperfection makes us human, makes us unique. I pick a photo of a broken AC vent, I drew some lines by looking at the photo and let my Hands go freely with my pencil. And that's what it ended to be, an elephant from my imagination. I hope you like it.
