About The Artwork
This is a reconstruction from a 18th century metal Sculpture from Dogon tribe. The Dogons are from Mali, Africa. The Dogons were noted as being perhaps one of the best group of astronomers as they noticed a star that the new age didnt see until the 1970s. But it believed that they had some kind help as this star is not visible to the naked eye. I like to think this couple is sitting watching the stars.
