Coming Home Print - Limited Edition of 7

A young woman stands waiting facing an overcast sky. Suddenly she raises her hand, he is back! The gulls cleave through the sky not knowing what is going on, or do they know? The gulls seem to be guiding something that is slowly coming into view. It is a space capsule slowly descending on three parachutes. The capsule is returning to Earth after a mission you would think. Nothing could be further from the truth, it is the young woman's lover returning to her life here on Earth. The young woman raises her index finger and from within the capsule electricity sparks jump over to her. You wonder what I wish to portray with this. Simply the love between two people who have been separated for a time. This work is an ode to all those lovers who have been separated against their will because of work, personal matters or whatever. You can see this in airports, train stations where someone is waiting for a loved one. As soon as they see each other again the sparks jump off. Beautiful the love between people This work was created using various techniques and intended to be printed in an open edition on various materials and sizes. I always make my own proofs in my studio on ordinary paper and a limited edition on high-quality art print paper. This limited edition depicts for me what I had in mind, these prints are the only copies dated and signed. Printed on Fine Art paper, Hahnemühle Bamboo 290 gsm · 90% bamboo fibres · 10% cotton · natural white, image size 40x40cm + 5 cm of white margin for easier framing.
