The original piece is a digital art printed on archival paper. Then on the glazing that covers the print there is an original etching in the glass. This provides depending on the time of day different shadow lines that make the print come alive. This piece is based on the Jewish Holiday of Sukkos (Sukkot) where we dwell in a structure called a Sukkah (Temporary Dwelling). One of the ideas is that we need to be outside and sit in the shade of the structure, one teaching is that the shade is G-d. The important thing to remember especially this year when we were not with family/friends for Holidays is that you might feel lonely in your quarantine but look at the shadows and G-d is there.
