About The Artwork
America projected image of Rock, electric chic, speed and prosperity in 20th century. The world followed. Branding and image wasn't part of everyday conversations back then, it was reserved for meetings behind closed doors.Today even kids talk about it. What is the image of USA presented to the world today? That's an open question this painting deals with. Present is confusing and future is uncertain. Streets are on fire as if pyrotechnic Rock concert stage-show moved into shaking neighborhoods of main cities. Rage jumped from records to streets. History is being carved again, and we are just on opening chapters of 21st century version of Rock'n'Roll. Rocks are already flying and we'll see what will be rollin' Stay safe whether you dance or just sing along! This is mixed media painted with oil spray paint over the photographic print on canvas and varnished. Ready to hang.
