About The Artwork

'Save the planet' is a very common slogan used lately. Inspired by this, I came up with the idea that my art should not be just decorative, but should have the purpose of supporting this slogan and alluding to the fact that our planet needs all our help. Given the fact that today there is more and more production, the fact is that we are therefore producing more waste materials. In the last few years there has been a huge demand for the use of solar panels. More and more green areas and roofs are covered with solar panels. Asking questions, what in 10-15 years when those panels reach their shelf life, what will happen to them? The only logical answer to this question is recycling. Surely there are already several companies on the market dealing with this issue, i.e. recycling, but I wanted to give my minimal contribution as an independent artist. In this way, my art sends a message about the importance of recycling and its useful purpose. This painting is just one part of a series that is currently in development. It can be just like a work of art that is hung on the wall of a space and thus enriches it further. Or it can be a multipurpose decorative item that has its own additional functions such as; wall partitions, external or internal fences or doors, or maybe more of them can be placed in the form of an artistic installation. The theme of this painting is related to global warming and the consequences that these changes cause; eaten by them is the melting of icebergs, which this picture reminds and warns us of. It was made with acrylic paints on the previously impregnated broken original glass surface of the panel. The aluminum frame makes it compact and ready to hang.

Hello everyone, My name is Nelisa Nela Baždar I am a dancing visual artist who loves life and breathes and dances her art. All of my being is submerged in my art – I create from my heart, soul, mind and my whole body. I paint, draw, design, print and dance. In my home I have created a magical little studio in which I prepare my artworks ( paintings, drawings and graphics). Inspiration for my art is everything within me and around me – nature, city, sun, moon, smile, water, movement, playfulness, expressiveness, air, sky, honesty, energetic, vibrant, sensuality, mysterious, adventurism, passionate, humor. But most of all in my work I show pure emotion and care for the state of mind. I was born in Sarajevo in 1986. Graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2011., Department of Teaching, Graphics subdivision. I exhibited my artworks at several solo exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and several international and domestic group exhibitions. I have participated in many art colonies, workshops, art festivals and biennials. I collaborated with Bosnian fashion designer Mrs. Amela Radan, with whom I organized two fashion shows at the Fashion Week in Novi Sad and Budapest in 2015. In period from 2007 – 2013. as part of the Sarajevo Winter Festival, I have been collaborating with several artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Netherlands, Finland, Macedonia and Germany which has helped improve my individual work, as well as further collaboration with artists from different climates. Worked as a teacher of art education in primary schools in Tešanj and at the Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth in Sarajevo. I also collaborated with Nakši Art in planning and implementing the interior painting of religious buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
