About The Artwork

The artwork illustrates my identity deeply embedded in cultural values. Seemingly, co-operation is neighbourhoods’ ordinary way of life, a supportive communal spirit, a life lived for one to another expressed beyond physical level. I exhibits a society that I belonged to, presenting a well preserved sociocultural coexistence. I hoped viewers could also hear the voices through this artwork.

Ezana Inspired by his childhood memorable places, he is an artist who is driven by the natural and manmade arrangements, patterns and shapes of life. He has known since the moment he could hold a pencil that creating art was his passion. He used to draw and paint by using various mediums, such as oil, acrylic, charcoal, and watercolors. However he was focused on digital art during his studying in university he continued to deliver his creativity in different formats, somehow he found himself as a DIGITAL CRAFTSMAN. He finished his BA degree under the Social Science faculty in digital media at London Metropolitan University; the matter how much he loves this digital world, he always misses traditional art and he keeps sketching very often. This time he decided to come back to the studio to explore his digital ideas in a traditional way. He also studied art and design at Alle School of Fine Arts and Design in Addis ababa Ethiopia. The artwork illustrates the artist’s identity deeply embedded in cultural values. Seemingly, co-operation is neighbourhoods’ ordinary way of life, a supportive communal spirit, a life lived for one to another expressed beyond physical level. The artist exhibits a society that he belonged to, presenting a well preserved sociocultural coexistence. He hoped viewers could also hear the voices through this art series.
