About The Artwork

I'm working on a series of new paintings depicting the history of the Scout motorcycles family by Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company, Springfield, Massachusetts. First Scout was designed in 1919 and introduced to the market and professional riders in 1920. In 2020 we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Indian Scout. Let me introduce you to the next beauty in the Indian Scout family: 1942 Indian Motocycle Model 741 „Military Junior Scout” powered by Air-cooled V-Twin 30.50 CI (500cc) 20 h.p. engine. This masterpiece of American industry was a military version of the popular and succesful „the Thirty-Fifty". Part of my INDIAN SCOUT 100 ANNIVERSARY series
