A lovely landscape in a silent bubble of unreality Print

This artwork belong to the series 'Empty landscape' has been inspired by memories of my chillhood. The memory is fragile then I can't remember details of those landscape that I saw when I was a child. All the drawings of that series 'Empty landscape' are a reflection of a interior landscape. And they are based in the studio of several 20th and 21st centuries abstract japanese artists. I intend to convey to the public a certain feeling of oppression with that dark spot that seems to descend on the yellow stripe, but this small stripe is at the same time a wake-up call to escape from that oppression, a way to hope. These drawings are a metaphor for the emotions of a broken childhood that I try to repair through these drawings. I ever use high quality materials. In this ocassion I use tempera made with high quality pigments and an acrylic medium. As an exception I made a landscape with a lot of figurative references because I need to highlight the feeling of silence., the feeling of emptyness.
