Painting with acrylic colors and copper leaf on wooden panel, in Art Nouveau style. Year: 2024. Dimensions: 28x38 cm. The painting is inspired by Klimt's paintings, in particular the painting entitled "The Embrace" (1905-1909). The original work is part of the Tree of Life series, a work composed of three panels, created on the occasion of the fitting out of the Brussels residence of the industrialist Adolphe Stoclet. It depicts a man and a woman in the act of embracing. The young woman's expression is one of almost abandonment towards the man's shoulder, with his back turned. The decorations of the clothes vary: on the man's clothes there are larger and squarer subjects, in a stylized and linear tunic; the woman's dress, on the other hand, is flowing and soft with more minute and refined decorations. The background is made up of spirals. The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity with the author's signature.
