This painting was inspired by the abstract expressionism movement during the 1940's in New York. By working on the floor in large scale quickly throwing paint down as Jackson Pollack did, it allows for expression and color to flow without hesitation. This work was made with acrylic paint on a large acrylic panel then covered in a clear resin to preserve and crystalize the colors so they pop off the wall.
