'Art Factor' Print

I was moving art studio all over NYC, from few locations in Queens to Hells Kitchen in Manhattan, East Harlem, South Bronx, Brooklyn and back again to LIC Queens where I stayed the longest. More than a decade my studio was in 5PTZ; Aerosol Outdoor Museum in LIC, West Queens. . Street art was more visible back in the day. Gentrification removed many sights and vistas you can now only see in movies from yesteryears. Graffiti covered building in LIC, where my art studio was, become a location for scenes in many movies and music videos filmed in New York. All those impressions, emotions and memories sometimes pour out in painting as in this work. Painted on gator board salvaged from NYC Marathon passing by my studio in LIC Queens, by the water's edge. NY State flag colors; Orange, White and Blue, are in this mixed media work which is painted with acrylic by brushes and with spray cans, street stile. Ready to hung, homie!
