I got used to the every Tuesday chaos of the popular Aswani market in Lagos Nigeria. Shopping here was something I looked forward to because of the wide variety of street traders and the good deals I got on food and other household items. I bought Tomatoes and pepper from this lady and I used it to cook a pot os chicken stew. While she got busy , I admired the beauty in it all, i had to save it , hold on to in in my own artistic expression. I live in San Francisco now, but this is a culture that defined me, shopping in open air markets and still finding the beauty in the madness of it all.
