About The Artwork
The 'Darbaar' of famous HanumanJi Temple in Mehandipur, Rajasthan inspired me to paint 'Balaji' in my style. You can say it's an illustration inspired from Hanuman ji idol of Balaji temple. I being a hindu, I felt proud to make art about my religion in my own style. Well, you all should give this painting a look to know about Hindutva, of course it's a vast term but as much I can deliver about hindu gods through my art, I would be glad to do it. Honestly, the day I remember I was buying Golden Paint, I saw 'Balaji darbaar' idol picture somewhere. Dang, I got the idea how I am gonna use golden paint on this subject. A random and quick decision. If you will Google- "Mehandipur Balaji", you will get what I am trying to convey ;) I used Coffee with water in the backgound and some dark tone colours in the background to give those rough and kinda holy textures. The beauty of this artwork is the main subject, Hanumanji's golden and irregular shaped idol. With different perspectives of seeing this painting, gold paint shines!
