The rural landscapes of my hometown and the bustling cityscapes of Vilnius served as my primary inspirations. The contrast between the serene beauty of my roots and the dynamic energy of urban life became a recurring theme in my paintings. I hope viewers experience a connection to the emotions embedded in each brushstroke. Whether it's the nostalgia of a familiar village scene or the excitement of city lights, I aim to evoke a range of emotions that resonate individually with each observer. I want them to reflect on their own journeys and find a piece of themselves within the artwork. The medium of oil on canvas allows me to capture the rich textures and vibrant colours of both rural and urban landscapes. I chose this medium for its versatility and timeless appeal. As for subject matter, I wanted to bridge the gap between my humble beginnings and the cosmopolitan experiences of studying in Vilnius. The juxtaposition of these two worlds became the focal point of my work. Stylistically, I gravitate towards realism with a touch of impressionism to convey the authenticity of the scenes and the emotions they evoke.

The human body is the most beautiful creation nature could produce. Born in 1987 in Kaunas, the artist graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since childhood, she has been drawing and painting, believing that the human body is the most beautiful creation nature could produce. Renata's works are characterized by a monochromatic color palette, focusing the gaze on the plasticity of movement. The body language expresses moods, feelings, and experiences. Love, yearning for something, beside which the heart is calm. In the absence of colors, the primary expressive means become the plastic line, emerging into the light and disappearing into the darkness. Through hand gestures, body inclinations, and body rotations, she speaks about the inner state.
