Chicken Licken Print

Chicken Licken was an excitable character who featured in an old fable that has been retold many times. When out in the forest one day, an acorn falls on Chicken Lickens head. Can this mean the sky is falling down? Will he get to the King in time to warn him? He tells many creatures, including Goosey Loosey and Henny Penny who are both pictured in this image and eventually tells Foxy Loxy. The ending can be left to the imagination, but it is not good. Chicken L is depicted here as a mask - the brave or scared mask we all wear sometimes and Foxy Loxy is a warm friend, rather than the sly hungry fellow he is often thought to be. All in all this is a happy colourful image. Framed beautifully and ready to hang.
