My family owned an Ice House on the West Side of San Antonio in the 60's. Block ice, crushed ice, bread, milk, eggs, soft drinks and beer were available. The building was torn down in 1991. This painting is from memory.

United States
I was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in the west side barrios. There was no place better in the world to me when I was growing up. My mother painted as a hobby and at an early age, encouraged me to draw and paint. I had a long and successful carrier in Advertising. I am retired now, and draw and paint every chance I get.
