About The Artwork
In Eastern Europe, Byzantine art is still popular. Art of Eastern Orthodox Icons. So I connected church art with modern art. I represented video game character as a Saint and I have an entire series of these kind of artworks. It is my idea to somehow educate West about our traditional church art, which is not much popular outside of Eastern Europe. It's a pop culture,but in gaming world. "Doom" is really old game,from 1993 and it is very popular even today.
